This privacy policy and terms of use (the Policy”) describes how we gather, use, and/or share data concerning you when you interact with us, including by using our website or otherwise communicating with us (collectively the “Services”). This Policy may be changed from time to time; we provide notice of changes by changing the date on this page to reflect the last update.

The Information We Gather 

We collect information you provide directly to us. For example, we collect information when you fill out a form, or otherwise communicate with us, make a donation, engage interactively with any part of the Services, sign up for emails or other alerts (eg text messages) The data types that we may collect include your name, demographic information, mailing address, email address, credit card, voting information, phone number, and/or any other data you give to us.  We may also collect data from other sources. 

Uses of the Information

The information we are given is used to support the goals of the voter alliance - to contact you for various purposes (including anything related to the voter alliance or its advocacy efforts), to count votes, prepare analytics and so forth. Information used for analytical or similar purposes may be aggregated and/or de-identified.  We also use the information to provide, improve and/or maintain the Services.  We may also use it to send you technical or functional updates, administrative or security related messages, feedback requests, status reports or other information.  We may also use the information to respond to your requests, connect you with other supporters or groups you wish to contact, send you information we think may be of interest (such as information about campaigns our alliance supports and/or events or similar advocacy efforts), to assist with voting efforts, or provide you with further information relating to the voter alliance.  We may also use the information to reach out to you if we need additional information pursuant to applicable laws (including election laws), and for any other lawful purposes in line with the purposes for which the information is collected.  In the event that you make donations, we may also use the information to provide any reports or other material that election laws require. 

We may correct or delete information in our discretion.

Data Sharing 

We may share your data with service providers for purposes of preparing analytics or delivering, maintaining/improving the Services. We may also share extracts or compilations including certain elements of your data with other parties or advocacy organizations for the purpose of furthering the goals of the voter alliance you have joined.  With your consent, we may also share your contact information with other advocacy organizations that you elect to contact.  We may also share your data in order to support the voter alliance you have joined, or as required by law.  In the event that you make a donation, we may share related information with authorities as required by law. 

Your experience using the site may be impacted by “cookies,” which, if you choose, can usually be managed or blocked by your browser (though that depends on your browser and may affect your use of the Services).

You may choose not to receive further updates from us, though we may send you other information concerning your use of the Services or related activities.  You may also ask us to delete data linked to you (not including anything de-identified or anonymized).

Terms of Use

By using our site and/or sending information to us, you consent to our use of the information for purposes of advancing the voter alliance which you join, and for any other purposes listed in this Policy.  We may cease providing the Services without liability of any kind.   We make no representations or warranties with respect to the Services or any aspect of your use thereof, including with respect to the completeness or accuracy thereof.  You release us from any liabilities associated with use of such information or from your use of rhe Services. Your continued use of the Services following any updates constitutes your acceptance of any updated policies or terms.
